Katrina, Priyanka and Bipasha to rock in the IPL finales

The IPL grand finale is promising to be delicious as never before. The crowd will be gasping with raging hormones when the three divas Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu will set the stage on fire during the finale of the 3rd edition of the IPL.

The three will shake their legs and groove to hit songs from their films on the night the IPL T20 trophy is handed out to the winning team.

Priyanka Chopra who started shooting in Kashmir for Saat Khoon Maaf has her first of her 7 screen husbands Irrfan Khan frantically preparing for his part of a love-stuck poet.

Irrfan had started his career as a film actor with the role of a love-stuck poet in Govind Nihalani's Drishti where he had got to make love to the older woman the beautiful Dimple Kapadia.

In Saat Khoon Maaf again Irrfan plays a besotted lover-boy, this time wooing Priyanka Chopra. And to help Irrfan get passionately poetic there's the inimitable Gulzar's poetry that would be used for Irrfan's character.

Gulzar Saab has apparently written some of his most romantic lines ever for Irrfan to woo Priyanka with. A diehard Gulzar fan Priyanka can't wait to be wooed with the luscious poetry that Irrfan would be reciting.

The trick is to make Irffan look much younger than his age for the role of the Cupid-challenged poet. The makeup artiste has been working since last week on Irrfan's face and body language to arrive at a look that would knock at least ten years off Irrfan's actual age.

Says Irrfan, “I play a shayar who is completely in love with Priyanka Chopra. Yes, the makeup artiste has worked out a look around my strange face so that for the first time I look different. In any case if one has to woo Priyanka one automatically glows with romantic enthusiasm. She's very inspiring.”

Says the actor, “I can't reveal any more about my character. But I must thank Vishal Bharadwaj for allowing me to court two of the most beautiful women on screen.It was Tabu in Maqbool and now Priyanka in this film.”

Katrina Kaif will not work with Priyanka Chopra

Katrina Kaif is sitting pretty in her own little niche in tinsel town and there’s no way she’s going to step out of it or do anything that jeopardizes her smooth-sailing career. Little surprise then that she chose to excuse herself from director Anurag Basu’s film with Ranbir Kapoor when she learnt that Priyanka Chopra will have a pivotal role in it.

Anurag Basu had purportedly planned a casting coup by finalizing Ranbir, Katrina and Priyanka for the same film. And Katrina’s detractors felt it was a forgone conclusion that Priyanka, being a better actress, would walk away with plaudits.

But Katrina has nipped that possibility in the bud by simply opting out of the project.

Katrina says her preference at this point of her career is to do only solo-heroine films. On top of it, she’s is utterly excited to have bagged the Hindi remake rights of a French film. She plans to produce the film and act in it as well. And with her date diary already chock-full of commitments, she had to opt out of some film to accommodate the remake. The axe fell on Basu’s film with Ranbir and Priyanka, in which she might have been reduced to a second fiddle.

Confirming to a tabloid that she’s eyeing solo-heroine projects only, Katrina said: “...I'm happy in the space I am. Why should I unnecessarily rock the boat?”

According to reports, Priyanka Chopra will be playing the role of a mentally challenged girl in the film. Though, she would be seen in the film after the interval only, but nevertheless Priyanka thinks this role is one of the best ones that has come her way.

Ranbir has worked in two films with Katrina Kaif so far and one with Priyanka Chopra which is still in the making.

Priyanka Chopra says no to Hollywood films

The likes of Mallika Sherawat or Freida Pinto would jump at the prospect of a Hollywood offer, but our desi girl seems to have no time for it. Priyanka Chopra recently declined to star in the film ‘Dawn Of War’, which has now Freida instead of her.

And the reason for her refusal is that she has given dates for a Bollywood film, namely Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ and has already started shooting for the most challenging role of her life. In fact, she started preparing for it during the Anjaana Anjaani shooting schedule in the US.

As a source tells a daily, Tarsem Singh, the director of ‘Dawn Of War’, wanted Piggy Chops for his film but as her date-dairy was choc-a-block, she chose, for obvious reasons, Vishal’s film. And, since Tarsem was in a hurry to finalize the cast, he signed Freida opposite the actor Henry Cavill for his war-epic.

Naseeruddin Shah and his son Vivaan Shah will play Priyanka's husbands in Saat Khoon Maaf

Naseeruddin Shahs youngest son Vivaan Shah is set to make his Bollywood debut opposite actress Priyanka Chopra he is playing one of her seven husbands in movie Saat Khoon Maaf. The Vishal Bhardwaj film, an unusual drama of passion and polyandry, also stars his father. Naseer plays Priyankas oldest husband while 20-year-old Vivaan plays the youngest.

Shooting is currently on at Coorg, and Priyanka is set to join the unit from Delhi after having received the National Award from President Pratibha Patil on Friday.

Vivaan was chosen by Vishal after he happened to spot the boy and found him just right for the role. Vivaan had no plans of a career in acting at this stage and age. Though casting both father and son as Priyankas husbands does appear rather audacious, Vishal seems convinced about it. Said Naseers elder son Imaad, Yes, my younger brother Vivaan is doing Vishal Bhardwajs film along with my father, but I dont know what role hes playing. Though everyone associated with the film is tight-lipped about this casting coup, another source has confirmed that Naseer and his younger son Vivaan are indeed playing Priyanka Chopras husbands.

The final list of Priyankas husbands in Saat Khoon Maaf (the title may be revised again) is: Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anu Kapoor, an undisclosed Russian actor and Vivaan Shah.

Luck has got a lot to do with life. Lady luck smiled on bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra recently while shooting for their film abroad. They got the chance to spend the whole night in a casino in Las Vegas.

Well, the cast and crew of Anjaana Anjaani got the surprise of their lives while shooting in Las Vegas. After completing the shooting at a famous casino, producer Sajid Nadiadwala told them that they could spend the night away in it.

The entire team tried to make the best use of the opportunity and tried their hands at various games from roulette to blackjack to slot machines. Surprisingly, nobody in the team could compete the lead pair. Ranbir won almost everything and Priyanka came a close second.

Priyanka Chopra set to marry 7 men

Former Miss World turned actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to tie the knot, of course only in reel life. The news is doing the rounds that she would play a woman who marries seven men, all of whom get killed, in her next film titled Ek Batta Saat by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Actors like John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Mohan Lal and Naseeruddin Shah have given the nod whereas Emraan Hashmi backed out due to his film with Mohit Suri. It is said that Vishal is planning to pick the rest of the cast from the relatively unknown names.
