Salman Khan told he will not work in Abhishek's film

Among the brigade of all of Bollywood’s 40-something actors, Salman Khan is being the honest one. He is no longer afraid to admit that he is too old to play a young boy. Ahmed Khan’s assistant, Abhishek Dogra approached him with a film offer and was politely turned down as Salman felt he was a little old for the role.

Abhishek narrated the story of his film to Salman at his residence at Galaxy Apartments in a one-and-a-half-hour long meeting. After Abhishek was done narrating the story to Salman, the latter asked him to cast a younger actor for the role.

According to sources, Salman’s rejection of the role may have something to do with the fact that it was a three-hero project and Salman didn’t appreciate the idea of sharing screen space with two other actors.

Though he didn’t take on the offer, Salman suggested that the ending of the script could be a little different and even gave his ideas. Abhishek agreed that Salman’s idea would make for a better climax and he is adding that to his script.

Abhishek sincerely hopes he can work with Salman sometime in future, despite having just lost out on a chance to do so. He is very thankful to the actor for his suggestions to the script.

Ritesh Deshmukh new gay in Dostana 2?

He's essayed the nerd in 'Aladin' and 'Jaane Kahan Se Aaye Hai'… and lost the cine battle on both counts! Close watcher and pal Ram Gopal Varma had some canny advice lined up for the architect actor.

Reportedly, RGV has drummed sense into Riteish… and the star will no longer essay a nerdy loser in any more flicks. Instead, Ramu wants Riteish to enact the swashbuckling hero who faces all odds valiantly and walks into a golden sunset with his damsel, sorry, heroine… who's no longer in distress.

Incidentally, Riteish might well stride into a sunflower sunrise… with another male love interest!! The cine vine is abuzz with news that Ritty Boy could well be signed up for Karan Johar's 'Dostana 2'!

Ah, the original 'gay' couple: Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham are still intact in 'Dostana 2'…. Riteish is reportedly being roped in to enact a lover in another gay pair. Come July, all cine lovers of the K Jo flick, gay or happy, will vie for Katrina Kaif in London. One lucky Kat, this.

Bollywood's well-dressed men

Debonair men of the industry
Our handsome men from the industry can’t afford to have a bad fashion day. Continuous shooting hours and several rounds of publicity leave little time for them to look dashing in their stylish avatars all the time. So, is it easy?

In this age of uber cool and haute couture, Bollywood’s metrosexual men, like their female counterparts, have shown that fashion is meant to be taken seriously. Here we present you the industry’s best-dressed males.

Salman Khan
He still hasn’t said goodbye to long sleeves and snug tees, but Salman Khan’s fashion sense has a distinct royal touch. He looks best in a black suit.

Ranbir Kapoor
The heartthrob likes to keep it classy most of the time. Though young, Ranbir Kapoor looks good in various types of suits. His lean frame is just right for it.

Hrithik Roshan
Once a shy boy, he now has matured to a style icon. Hrithik Roshan, like Shahrukh, likes to try different looks. And why not, when he can carry anything with panache! Best seen, sporting a stole with a suit.

John Abraham
With a great body like him, even if he wears a rag it will look good. John Abraham is not only the most handsome man of the industry but also the most stylish one just like a bollywood superstar Salman Khan. And no one looks better in a semi-formal suit than him.

Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan knows how to woo his fans and critics. From sporting stubbled look to spiked hair, his quirky fashion sense is admirable. And we can’t even say that he is not into suits. Anyway, he is one of the best-dressed males of Bollywood.

Farah takes revenge, dumps Shahrukh

Here is the shocker of the year! The leading actor of director Farah Khan's next film is not Shahrukh Khan. It is Akshay Kumar. Titled Tees Maar Khan (TMK), the film is a joint production between the actor's Hari Om Productions and her company (owned jointly with husband Shirish Kunder) Three's Company.

This casting is interesting because Farah is Shahrukh's rakhi sister and Akshay is his arch-rival. Both her previous films had her mooh-bola-bhai in lead roles. Her third film, Happy New Year was to feature him too but he kept sending her back to the writing boards as he wasn't happy with it. When it became clear that in 2010, SRK would finish Ra1 and Don, she dropped the project and approached Akshay for TMK.

And though Farah and Shahrukh are not working together, she remains very fond of him. Apparently, she met SRK yesterday at Mannat to apprise him of the latest developments of her film and to let him know that Akshay was her lead hero before Shahrukh heard it from anyone else.

Clearly, there is stress between SRK and Farah. The unwritten rule has been broken. Until now it was understood: If Farah Khan (or Karan Johar) made a film, it would star SRK. But by casting Khan's dushman, she has proved what was only being speculated so far - that all is not well between them. It is believed that the actor was not happy with the script and asked her to rewrite it a few times but she felt these were just delaying tactics and he wanted to start the superhero flick Ra1 and the action-thriller Don 2 before her film.

She felt hurt that he gave her the run-around instead of being direct with her. Things have been brewing beneath the surface for quite some time now. Farah has been missing from most parties at Mannat. She has been slowly distancing herself from the clique.

Also, Farah felt that Shahrukh had treated Shirish badly by offering him The Zoya Factor to direct for his home production, and then passing the film off to someone else without even informing him. SRK had also given the nod to Tees Maar Khan to be directed by Shirish initially, then later had second thoughts about it. Shirish was also in talks with Shahrukh Khan for another film (Joker) but that didn't work out as well.

Shirish Kunder says, "Yes, it's true that Akshay and I are co-producing Tees Maar Khan and Farah is directing the film. The production company that Farah and I have formed is called Three's Company Production Pvt Ltd. I had written this film with Akshay in mind and was initially planning to direct it but when Farah and I formed our production company, we mutually thought it best that she direct this film while I take the responsibility of a producer. Akshay and I shared a great rapport while working on Jaan-e-Mann and I have been looking to work with him again. This project gives me that opportunity."

When quizzed as to why Farah didn't take Shahrukh for her next project, Farah says simply, "I am very fond of Shahrukh but I have to be there for my husband. Shirish needs my support today and he's family."

Farah's brother Sajid Khan's directorial debut starred Akshay Kumar. His second film, which is in the making, also stars Akki. Akshay was also the lead star (along with Salman Khan) of Farah's husband Shirish Kunder's directorial debut Jaan-E-Mann

We have heard that Shirish Kunder is co-producing a film Tees Maar Khan with Akshay Kumar which Akshay is starring in and Farah Khan is directing. Are you aware of it and if you are, are you okay that Farah's next film won't be with you?
"Yes."

Trivia
SRK is known as King Khan. Until Akshay acted in Singh is Kinng, challenging his rival. Now that Shahrukh's My Name is Khan releases, Akki will be seen as 'Khan' in Tees Maar Khan.

Salman warns Hrithik on his married life

Hrithik Roshan had invited Salman Khan for Suzanne Roshan's birthday party but Salman gave it a miss to avoid bumping into Shahrukh Khan who along with his wife attended the party.

Salman took the pain of clarifying the reason for his absence to Hrithik. He reasoned that since he needed to walk the ramp in a Fashion Week in New Delhi on the same day he could not attend the party.

Salman didn't just stop with that and assumed the role of a family advisor to Hrithik. He said that he took Hrithik as his younger brother and loved him very much. He also said that he was aware of somebody called Barbara Mori. Salman warned Hrithik that if he didn't take care of his wife and family then he would actually stop talking to him.

Well, it seems like Salman Khan is more bothered about Hrithik's married life than tying the knot in his own personal life. The elder brotherly love seems to have come alive!
