Ranbir Kapoor and Bipasha Basu spotted together at night

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Bipasha Basu developed a special relationship. They became very good friends and find each other very reliable to discuss any matter. They open their heart to each other. They make it a point to meet once in a week in spite of their busy schedule. Recently, when they were spotted at nightspot, both looked very comfortable, relaxed and happy.

Says an eyewitness, “After they entered, Ranbir and Bipasha went to a separate corner. They looked very comfortable in each other’s company.”

“They stayed in the premises for an hour-and-a-half. It was a very happening night on Thursday but after Ranbir and Bipasha entered, most people were only looking at them,” adds the witness.

Bipasha said, “Yes, Ranbir and I do go to the nightspot you mentioned. Is there any problem with that?”

They were not alone, accompanied them were director Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta.

If you recall, Bipasha and Ranbir’s ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone does not share a good rapport. They had a brawl during the promotion of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’.

As now Ranbir is trying to renew his relationship with Deepika, we wonder his closeness with Bips might not spoil his attempt.

Rabnir Kapoor refuses to work with Shahrukh Khan

Ranbir Kapoor has refused to do a film with Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan. The reason: Ranbir feels that SRK will overshadow him since he is a bigger star than him on any day.

According to reliable sources, Karan Johar, who is friends with Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, recently offered Ranbir a script that had SRK along with him. Though Ranbir liked the script but he was not keen to do a film with SRK at this moment.

It s learnt that Ranbir is playing his cards carefully. The actor does not want to do multi-hero projects since he feels that it can overshadow his performance. Moreover, Ranbir has a few films lined up in which he is the sole hero, so before he decides to share the screen space with SRK, Ranbir wants to become a bigger star to match the competition.

Ranbir as Kishore Katrina as Madhubala in Anurag Basu’s next

Anurag Basu is planning a biopic on the late actor, director and singer Kishore Kumar and for this venture he has signed Ranbir Kapoor to play the character of Kishore Kumar. His lady love in the movie will be none other than Katrina Kaif. Katrina will be playing the role of Madubala in the movie.

It seems that Katrina has already started watching Classics movies of Madubala like Chalti Ka Naam Gadi, Mugal e Azam , Mahal etc to bring in the perfection in her character. The makers are planning to recreate the magic of the song ‘ Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si’ which was picturised on Kishore Kumar and Madhubala in the film Chalti Ka Naam Gadi.

Earlier Anurag Basu had signed Katrina for his movie Silence, which Katrina refused when she came to know that Priyanka Chopra is playing a pivotal role in the movie. In spite of this incident there is no grudge between the director and the actress and both are looking forward to make a great movie ahead.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are back together!

Controversial couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor might work together again. Sources claimed that, Deepika Padukone was recently approached to play a role opposite her ex-boyfriend and she has not declined the offer as yet.

The film is Anurag Basu's upcoming venture Khamoshi. Casting also includes Priyanka Chopra playing the role of a mentally challenged girl. Interestingly, Katrina had walked out of this film when she learnt that Priyanka Chopra is part of its star cast.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor will be part of the same film has generated a lot of interest. Ever since the two parted ways they have not even spoken to each other much. Sources claimed that Deepika considered the offer of playing a role in the film keeping her personal differences aside.

Kishore Kumar's son Amit Kumar will sing in Ranbir's next film

Anurag Basu’s biopic on Kishore Kumar (starring Ranbir Kapoor) will have the legendary singer’s son, Amit Kumar, doing the playback.

Says Anurag, “I recently saw Amit on a Bengali music reality show. I was zapped. The older he gets, the more he resembles his father in expression, body language and zest for life. I will definitely get Amit to sing for Ranbir in the film.”

Incidentally, Kishore Kumar’s younger son Sumeet sang a version of Kishore’s Bachna ae haseenon for Ranbir. Now it’s Kishore’s elder son Amit’s turn to sing for the actor.

Anurag is also in touch with other members of Kishore Kumar’s family. “I was delighted when Leenaji (Chandavarkar) said she was familiar with my work and had full faith that I would do justice to Kishoreda’s biopic.”

The film will cover every aspect of the singer’s life - including the Madhubala chapter. “I will be putting Kishoreda’s life on screen in totality. As a singer, actor, writer, composer, husband, father... everything. It’s a challenge. Let’s see if I’m up to it,” says Anurag.

Shooting for the film starts as soon as Anurag completes Silence.

Ranbir Kapoor to romance sexy model Diana Penty

If the latest buzz in tinsel town is to be believed, we’ll see Ranbir Kapoor romancing the hot model Diana Penty in director Imtiaz Ali’s next film Rockstar.

Imtiaz has apparently been ambivalent about who to sign as Ranbir’s love interest in the film - a new face or an already established actress from Bollywood. For some time he even toyed with the idea of roping in one-film-old Anushka Sharma for the film, but later dropped the idea.

Now, we hear that the director of hit romantic films like Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal has finalized model Diana Penty for the film.

Diana is a popular model in Mumbai and has also worked with Ranbir in a Virgin Mobile commercial. She’s done ads for various cosmetic brands.

‘Rockstar’ will be a love story set in musical background. According to a source, Imtiaz was looking out for a girl with a mod, grungy look and Diana fitted the bill.

According to reports, Priyanka Chopra will be playing the role of a mentally challenged girl in the film. Though, she would be seen in the film after the interval only, but nevertheless Priyanka thinks this role is one of the best ones that has come her way.

Ranbir Kapoor again in director Rajkumar Santoshi’s next

he filmmaker and the star created incredible success with their previous film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. Now Rajkumar Santoshi and Ranbir Kapoor will again come together for a project which is alleged to have a light-hearted theme.

It is said that the filmmaker will start on this film after he is done with Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘The Outsider’.

According to Santoshi, after ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and ‘Ajab Prem...’ the pressure to complete a hat-trick of comedies has been immense. However, this time the director is going to steer away from giving a thorough comedy. Instead the film will have far more subtle and understated comic subject. “It will be a new language for comedy, nothing like what we've seen already,” revealed the director.

Sanjay Dutt Challenging to actor Ranbir Kapoor

Youngistan will be taking on a clever game master via Ranbir Kapoor in a game launched by soft drink brand Pepsi. While Ranbir would represent Youngistan, Sanjay Dutt features as ‘Game Master’.
The two stars together launched a contest ‘The Game’ by Pepsico in Mumbai.

The game is set in a fantasy world with all the action taking place in a castle owned by the game master. Dutt challenges Ranbir to get his Pepsi from his lair after solving mind boggling challenges.

The game would be aired in between the ongoing IPL matches. The audience can take part in the game and help Ranbir solve the challenges. The winner would get Rs 50 lakh.

At the game’s launch, when Dutt was asked to give a message to the youth, he said: “Please stay away from drugs.”

Well, the cast and crew of Anjaana Anjaani got the surprise of their lives while shooting in Las Vegas. After completing the shooting at a famous casino, producer Sajid Nadiadwala told them that they could spend the night away in it.

The entire team tried to make the best use of the opportunity and tried their hands at various games from roulette to blackjack to slot machines. Surprisingly, nobody in the team could compete the lead pair. Ranbir won almost everything and Priyanka came a close second.

Katrina Kaif, Abhishek, Neil get Italian Job

Lady Katrina Kaif seems to be on a roll and there seems to be no stopping her. After pairing successfully with Ranbir Kapoor in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, she has now been signed for yet another biggie.

Abbas-Mustan has finished casting the main leads for the much talked about action thriller which will be the remake of Italian Job. The director duo has cast Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Katrina Kaif for this film.

Abbas (of Abbas-Mustan jodi) confirmed the news saying, "We have just signed the trio of Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Katrina Kaif, for the remake of the Italian Job, whose rights we have acquired from Paramount Pictures. As you know, The Italian Job was a cult film in Hollywood. In the remake, we will maintain that cult factor, except that we will add the Indian element. However, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized."

The film will be produced by Studio 18.
